Paul Lafayet Macarons

 PAUL LAFAYET MACARONS

It had a nice consistency- no air bubbles, soft on the inside, yep

 GINGER
By looking at it, I assumed it was sesame.. and I was wrong heh. It was ginger and it tasted pretty good!

 BANANA BALSAMIC
My sister liked this but I didn't :( I didn't taste the banana in it. Is there something wrong with my tastebuds? :( hahaha

 EARL GREY (?)
I'm not so sure if this was earl grey though... Couldn't find this on the internet D:

 CAPPUCINO

 MACCHA
Green Tea

 CHOCOLATE
It was sad that this chocolate looked so flat (as if it had no ganache) but it did taste pretty good! This was my favorite in this batch of macarons :)

And my cousin sent me another box after a day (which I didn't bother to take solo pictures of anymore)

(SESAME, RASPBERRY, BAILEY'S, PISTACHIO, CHOCOLATE, MACCHA)

I had to search what the red one was. My first guess was red velvet, but apparently it was raspberry. Nope, it didn't taste like raspberry at all to me..

Chocolate please!! :)

KATHLEEN'S MACARON CRITERIA:

Shell 9/10
It should be smooth and delicate, slightly crispy but not crunchy- fragile like eggshells, it should also be somehow flat and not dome-shaped with no air bubbles nor air pockets. Technically, excessive coloring is a no-no. (And smooth it was.)

Filling & Flavor 8/10
F&F should be smooth, light and distinctly flavorful. It shouldn't be too sweet or sour as well. Melt in the mouth texture is also a plus!

Aesthetics 7/10
Shape and size of the macaron, feet and filling ratio (filling ratio for the chocolate in both boxes and earl grey please!)

Value 8/10
We all know that macarons aren't easy to do, (and maybe there are even more guidelines that I've yet to read about) so you're technically paying for the labor of the macaron maker. Accept it, pay, then judge if it was worth the money you paid with. (Well this was better than the others in consistency even after it was 3 days refrigerated after opening so ok lah!)
