2015 Dewfoam Philippine Bench Press Championships

So last Februrary 21-22, 2015, I experienced my first equipped bench press competition at the

2015 DEWFOAM PHILIPPINE BENCH PRESS CHAMPIONSHIPS

at Robinson's Place, Antipolo

I didn't get to take pictures of the lifts or any cos it was a tiring event :((

The SFH-CFMNL Powerlifting Team on a fieldtrip to Antipolo!

We ate at Ineng's after the weigh-in. BBQ FTW

 My brother Archie and Patricia's boyfriend Mico helped us during our warm-up (yay)

And they squatted us! Hahaha it was such a happy weekend :D

My best lift at 57.5kg! (Failed my 60kg attempt :P)

Brought home Silver from the Juniors 63kg Category

Gold for the Novice 63kg Category (and the record for it!)

And Bronze for the Open 63kg category. Yay second time to platform with my coach/training buddy/mentor/tita/mommy/sister/friend who bagged the Gold for the Open division + set a new National Bench Press Record!!!!! Woop woop!!!

He was exhibiting the importance of core :p

The Powerlifting Girls of SFH-CFMNL Team went home with 3 new national records, 5 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze medal + the 1st place for the Women's Open award, 1st place for the Women's Novice Team, and 3rd place for the Women's Junior team!


Patricia Ramos (52kg) - 35kg

Paula Arce (72kg) - 47.5kg, new novice record

Betina Bordeos (63kg) - 105kg, new national open record

Joanna Lao (57kg) - 62.5kg

And Me (63kg) - 57.5kg, new novice record
